Thanksgiving is easily my favourite Holiday. A time for pumpkin pie, deviled eggs, turkey, and canned cranberry jelly (That’s right, you can keep your damn fresh cranberry sauce!). But, what do we drink with all of this amazing food? Trust me, the East Indian cocktail is exactly what you need.
Here’s how to make it:
- 1 oz Brandy
- 0.5 oz Black Rum (Release the Kraken!)
- 0.5 oz Triple Sec
- 1 oz Pineapple Juice
- Angostura Bitters to taste
Don’t let the pineapple juice fool you; this drink tastes like liquid fall. The bitters add a spicy note to this cocktail reminiscent of pumpkin pie, while the brandy and Rum give you that warm and fuzzy. So, enjoy your company, loosen your belt, and let the East Indian help everyone forget how dry your turkey was.
